We just turned one hundred years, and this brings a surreal tone with it. To be in existence for an entire century, serving motorists and making their experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible has not been easy but it has been possible.

Safe and efficient motoring and road safety remain top on the agenda of the Automobile Association of Kenya even as we walk into a new century.

Galton Fenzi Memorial
First chairman was the then Governor of Kenya, Sir Edward Northey, while Fenzi served as Honorary Secretary until his death on May 15th 1937. With the aim of promoting and safeguarding the interests of motorists the association has since the very beginning provided information and advice about the purchase, maintenance and repair of vehicles, negotiating attractive insurance premiums, road mapping and the setting up of petrol depots
