Safer Roads to Schools programme continues in 2020

On Wednesday 26th June 2019, Emergency Assist 991 hosted a Road Safety Stakeholders seminar at Cresta Lodge Gaborone to introduce and launch their road safety project, “Safer roads to schools – too young to die!”

Emergency Assist 991 in partnership with the Gaborone City Council (GCC) constructed and painted the pedestrian crossings at Itumeleng Primary School in Block 3 to make it a safer crossing area for students.

The GCC also put up the pedestrian bridges for students to cross over the trenches along the school road.
